UO Foundation Nominated for Mid-Size Nonprofit of the Year

Oct 2007

Foundation & Endowment Money Management (FEMM) recently announced the nominees for its 2007 Nonprofit Awards For Excellence. They include six awards for foundations and endowments, five awards for asset managers, one for a consultant and another for a marketer.

FEMM contacts a wide variety of people in the nonprofit industry for ideas and suggestions for identifying potential nominees and also puts forward ideas from its own reporting and industry knowledge. FEMM draws up a long list of potential nominees for each category and the editorial staff selects three nominees. To do this, FEMM conducts both qualitative and quantitative research. Nominees are exemplars of the best-run nonprofits in performance, investment decisions and use of managers.

Winners for all categories will be announced at a gala dinner on Monday October 22, 2007 in San Francisco.
