Donor Advised Funds

Donor Advised Funds are available for select gifts. The Foundation and a University representative will work with donors to determine if this option is best to meet their charitable intent. The Foundation follows a firm policy in regards to Donor Advised Funds which is consistent with Oregon State and Federal guidelines.

To establish a Donor Advised Fund, several minimum requirements must be met:

• Gift amount of $1 million,
• Minimum of 50% of the gift must be designated to the University of Oregon, or the University of Oregon Foundation,
• Balance of the funds must be designated to organizations who support education, cultural, or youth programs in their mission.
