Private Gifts
Private Gifts
Since 1922, the University of Oregon Foundation has received, invested, and distributed private gifts to the University, funding student scholarships, faculty support, academic programs, and building improvements.

The Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation, is responsible for receiving and administering the thousands of private gifts donated annually to the University of Oregon, and disbursing those funds to the University according to donor intent.

Jon Anderson, who will serve as Chair of the Board of Trustees through June 2014, says he looks forward to working closely with Foundation President Paul Weinhold and other Foundation staff during what he calls an “exciting” time.
